Dundalk Leisure Craft Outdoor Cabin saunas come in 7 different sizes. They all come with a glass door, and a choice of extra window or two, depending on sauna room size. All cabin saunas are made of Clear red cedar, a perfect wood for saunas. It is very durable and has great heat insulating properties. The clear wood is a better choice than knotty wood for an outdoor sauna, as it has a smooth, even look. The sauna is crowned by a beautiful weather-proof 3-layer cedar shingle roof!
The base price includes a 4'x6' sauna room with a 6 KW heater. All the upgrades are priced on top of that minimum option. You should choose the cabin size based on the available space and people using the sauna. If you have the space, we recommend choosing at least medium-sized cabin, as they come with 2-tier benches. The 4'x6' and 4'x7' cabins are useful for tight spaces. They fit 1-3 persons and are affordable starter saunas for your garden or summer house. Both come equipped with an electric heater.
These saunas are available with single tier back wall bench. The window options depend on the size. With the 4'x6', you can choose to have a 12" by 60" window on the front wall, in addition to the cedar framed glass door that comes standard with all Dundalk cabin saunas. With the 4'x7', the door will be in the middle, and you have an option of having windows on both sides of the door (or no windows).
The medium size cabins have two different size options: 5'x6', 5'x7' and 5'x8'. They come with better bench options, and the larger interior makes the heat feel smoother. They are perfect for 3-6 people.
For the benches, the medium size cabins come with two tier back wall benches. The two-tier setup improves the feeling of heat and is great for kids with families. Small kids can stay at the lower bench, where they can enjoy the milder warmth of the sauna. For the window, you have a choice of 1 window on the front wall (5'x6' cabin) or 1-2 windows on both sides of the door (5'x7' and 5'x8' cabins).
The three largest cabin saunas come in 6'x6', 6'x7'& 6'x8' sizes. They fit up to 6 people. With these saunas, you have the option of upgrading to a wood burning heater. Wood gives a smoother feeling of heat compared to electric heaters, and the mellow feeling of warmth is pronounced further by the spacious interior.
These saunas are available with the two tier L shape wall bench. They have enough space for two people to lie down in the top benches. With the 6'x6' sauna you can have one window, and with 6'x7' and 6'x8' models up to two 12"x60" front wall windows.
With small and medium cabins, the available choice for a heater is electric. If you are buying one of the larger cabins and live somewhere where the smoke won't bother neighbors, we recommend choosing a wood-burning heater. The electric heaters are great in cities, or if the supply or storage of firewood might be an issue.
The main difference with wood-burning heaters is about outside or inside feed. Outside feed keeps the wood debris out of the sauna floor. Inside feed shows that natural light of the fire inside the sauna, making your sauna experience perfect!
