A traditional wood-burning heater or a modern electric heater - which is the best?
As the decision is very personal, it's impossible to say that one or the other is the best choice for everyone. Here are some details about each that we will help you choose the one that best fits your lifestyle.
The wood-burning heater is the most traditional option. If you install your sauna in a location without easy access to electricity and know how to light a fire yourself, the wood-burning heater is an excellent choice that we highly recommend. With this option, you can choose between an inside- or outside-feed for the wood.
The electric heater is preferred by some people because it’s convenient and simple to use. It can be turned on and off with just the click of a button. Plus, you don't have to worry about acquiring or storing any firewood. Also we have wi-fi options–just ask if interested.
Both heaters will offer a powerful heat experience that will have you enjoying your sauna for years to come.
Elecric heaters will require installation by a licensed electrician and a 240v powered line hardwired to the heater. The amps needed for the breaker will vary from 30-50 amps depending on the heater model and size.

Adding a porch will make your sauna much more sophisticated, beautiful and practical. It perfectly frames this unique structure, making it stand out as a prominent feature of your property.
The porch provides a sheltered space for cooling off post-sauna and keeping rain and snow away from your door. The porch adds 2 feet to your sauna.
The Luna gives you 3 choices for the 2-tier bench layouts. You can choose: 1 bench (on the back wall), 2 benches (one on each side wall) or an L-shaped bench (on the back wall and one side wall). If you choose Lounge upgrade (see Interior Upgrades below), your benches will be 1-tier, either on the back wall or both side walls. The wood burning heaters are only available with 8'x7' and 8'x8' saunas with side or L-shaped benches (the heater goes on the back wall). You can also choose 1-tier benches with the Lounge upgrade.

The standard Luna comes with curved benches. If you would really relax in the sauna, you can choose the Lounge Upgrade for your benches.
You can have the Lounge benches either on the back wall, both sides, or just left or right side.
The Lounge Upgrade gives you the option to turn your flat bench into a personalized lounge chair. The reclining option gives support to your back and legs which offers the ultimate relaxation experience.
